Media Account Executive
About Pretzl:
Transforming B2B Marketing, One Buyer Journey at a Time
Pretzl is redefining what a B2B marketing agency can be. As a B2B Technology-and-People-as-a-
Service (TaPaaS) agency with approx. 350 people globally, we're not just advising clients - we're
building the technology that transforms how businesses connect with their buyers.
As part of our expansion, our media team in the US is growing fast and we need super stars to
help us grow and deliver great media plans, and best-in-class service for our clients
Role:
The Media Account Executive is an entry-level role for someone looking to build strong
foundations in paid media and B2B marketing.
Working as part of the media account team, you will support the planning, activation,
management and reporting of multi-channel media campaigns. You’ll learn how different media
channels work together, develop confidence working with campaign data and platforms, and
help ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time and on budget.
You will work closely with colleagues across media, analytics, activation and client teams, as
well as external media partners. As your experience grows, you’ll take increasing ownership of
campaign tasks, contribute recommendations and build confidence communicating directly with
clients.
Skills
You’ll ideally bring:
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with an interest in using data to understand
performance.
• Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to manage multiple
deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with different teams and
disciplines.
• Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions, learn quickly and build your media
knowledge.
• Initiative and a proactive approach to solving problems and overcoming blockers.
• An interest in paid media, advertising and the wider B2B marketing landscape.
• Confidence working with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Adaptability and the ability to remain organized when priorities change.
• A positive, dependable approach and willingness to take ownership of your work.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the development of media plans by researching audiences, channels, media
partners and targeting opportunities.
• Helping the team interpret client briefs, gather the information needed for planning and
identify areas that need clarification.
• Briefing media partners and internal activation teams and helping evaluate appropriate
media opportunities.
• Supporting campaign setup and activation across channels including paid social,
programmatic display and other relevant media.
• Coordinating campaign requirements including specifications, assets, tracking
information, trafficking and launch checks.
• Monitoring campaign delivery, pacing, budgets and performance across relevant
platforms and reporting tools.
• Identifying potential campaign issues or optimisation opportunities and working with
the wider team to implement changes.
• Pulling, checking and organising campaign data and helping translate it into clear client-
facing reporting.
• Highlighting key campaign results, trends and learnings, rather than simply reporting
numbers.
• Supporting regular client communications and confidently owning appropriate sections
of meetings and presentations as your experience develops.
• Maintaining accurate campaign documentation and following agreed account processes.
• Supporting campaign administration, bookings, billing and other media finance
processes.
• Building relationships with publishers and media partners and keeping up to date with
new media products and opportunities.
• Working collaboratively across the agency to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately
and efficiently.
• Continuing to develop your knowledge of media channels, platforms, B2B marketing and
the clients you work with.
