Role overview
We’re seeking a Senior Account Manager with a passion for Social Media in the B2B space to join our energetic team on Great Portland Street.
You’ll work with exciting B2B clients, including a leader in sustainable solutions (chemicals/plastics) and a financial services firm (investment management).
We’re looking for someone with experience leading accounts for major B2B companies in utilities, chemicals, or financial services, with a strong interest in these sectors.
You’ll report to an Account Director, working 2–3 days a week from our London office, with remote flexibility.
As a Senior Account Manager at Cubaka, you will:
- Be the main contact for clients, understand their goals, and build and nurture, long-term relationships through regular communication and meetings.
- Address client needs, concerns, and feedback to ensure overall satisfaction.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the difference between B2B and B2C client's requirements, tailoring services accordingly.
- Manage the delivery of social media projects and retainers - including delivery of social creative (always-on and campaign production), paid media activations, and influencer marketing - from start to finish.
- Work with colleagues from across the business to ensure delivery is on time and within budget while meeting client expectations.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness to spot opportunities to increase revenue and growth within your portfolio of clients.
- Pull together scopes of work, present budget proposals, and keep track of your accounts finances as the work rolls out.
- Coach and guide Account Executives to ensure their daily engagement with productive tasks while nurturing their career development.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in social media and digital marketing.
- Spot the Threads from the TikTok trending sounds.
- Offer insights into social media best practices and provide constructive commentary on the latest campaigns, drawing from a well-informed viewpoint.
- Partner with Creators and Influencers, managing these relationships to amplify client campaigns.
You will bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a client-facing agency role managing social and digital campaigns for well-known brands.
- An understanding of best practice client servicing, from creating relationships to client management, expectation setting, communication and correspondence.
- Experience managing timelines, estimates, budgets, forecasts and invoices.
- Passion for, and knowledge of, all things social and digital marketing within the B2B space.
