We're looking for an experienced CRM strategist to join Plinc's Client Success team in a senior, strategic role, offered on a part-time basis. You'll be the critical link between customer understanding and creative marketing execution, turning data and insight into CRM strategy.

What you'll bring
Demonstrable experience delivering CRM and customer strategy for clients, from customer journeys and lifecycle strategy to segmentation, targeting and contact strategy.
Strong data planning and analytical skills, comfortable collaborating with analysts and data scientists to turn data into actionable strategy.
A solid understanding of measurement, experimentation and test-and-learn approaches.
A proactive, curious mindset, with a track record of spotting client challenges and opportunities beyond the original brief.
Strong visual storytelling skills and the confidence to present to and build trusted relationships with senior clients, including constructively challenging established thinking.
Experience contributing strategic thinking to pitches and new business.
A collaborative team player, comfortable working across multiple accounts and stakeholder levels at once.
Key responsibilities
Proactively identify client challenges and unmet needs, turning them into new briefing opportunities.
Partner with our analytics, technical and client teams to turn customer, behavioural and performance data into clear, actionable strategy.
Develop CRM and customer engagement strategies, customer journeys, lifecycle and contact strategies, and communications frameworks, and support their execution.
Build targeting strategies and measurement frameworks that improve CRM effectiveness and inform optimisation.
Present recommendations confidently to senior client audiences through clear, compelling visual outputs.
Contribute to pitches and new business, helping shape the CRM strategy and strategic story, and run or contribute to client growth initiatives such as business reviews, audits and ideation workshops.
Help build and shape Plinc's strategic function, championing strategic thinking across teams, a genuine opportunity to leave your mark as the function grows.
About You
We're looking for someone highly organised and detail-focused, who brings positive leadership qualities, strong interpersonal skills and a natural collaborative approach. You'll be customer-centric in your thinking, motivated by delivering real impact for clients, and able to build trusted relationships through thoughtful planning and a proactive attitude.
Useful skills
A minimum of 5 years' working in a CRM strategy role, or demonstrable expertise in this area.
Experience/familiarity with
Marketing technology and automation platforms (SCV, CDP),
Web analytics/personalisation tools,
BI tools.
Working hours and office expectations
This is a part-time role offered at 3 days a week, with the potential to rise to 4 as business needs evolve. We're open to how those days (or equivalent hours) are structured (three full days, four partial days, or another pattern) provided the arrangement is consistent but we do ask for flexibility around key client meetings that fall outside the agreed pattern.
We operate a hybrid working environment and we expect attendance to be around 2–4 times a month, prioritising days with a team or company meeting or event (typically Thursdays).

Salary Range: £65,000-£75,000 (FTE)
