Role overview
We're looking for an experienced Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications built on the Microsoft .NET platform.
You will contribute to architectural discussions, write clear and maintainable code, and help complete projects across the team. You will work in a role that allows for autonomy while collaborating when needed.
You will support cross‑functional teams and help drive continuous improvement across our engineering practices.
You will report to the development manager.
Note: This role is a 4-day per week working from our Leicester office and 1 day per week remotely.
As a Developer at Cloudfy, you will:
Have minimum 2 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using C# and the .NET platform (e.g., .NET 4.8+, .NET 8).
Implement new features, enhancements, and integrations across systems.
Analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
Work with SQL Server to design schemas, write queries, and improve performance.
Participate in code reviews to support consistency, clarity, and maintainability in the codebase.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full stack.
Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous system/process improvements.
Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and UX teams
Produce and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation.
Manage tasks with an appropriate level of autonomy, including work involving medium to higher levels of complexity.
Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
Guide junior developers when required.
Identify risks, propose solutions, and escalate issues appropriately.
Complete work within agreed timelines and contribute to technical discussions.
Proactively resolve issues and support continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
You will bring:
Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
Strong SQL skills with experience using relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
Familiarity with Azure or modern cloud/DevOps environments.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication.
