Account Director (B2B)
Our journey, achievements, and growth are all attributed to the exceptional individuals who form the core of our team. Our people are not just employees but the heart and soul of everything we do.
Brandwidth is a digital innovation agency, established for 21 years and part of the Next15 Communications group, a UK PLC with a global footprint across 50 offices in 15 countries. We connect brands and organizations to the future through disruptive thinking and transformative digital innovation, backed by strong execution.
Role overview
We are looking for an experienced client services professional. You could be either a Senior Account Manager ready to advance or an established Account Director. Your role will involve joining our New York team and leading a single multinational enterprise account. This account requires deep experience with large global organizations.
You will be operationally strong, commercially motivated, and able to influence senior stakeholders. You will manage day‑to‑day relationships across multiple business units and senior client contacts while overseeing digital initiatives spanning social media, web, email, and strategy, backed by internal strategy and creative teams.
You will also own the commercial and operational management of the account, including forecasting, scoping, estimating, and invoicing. While leading the development of integrated campaigns, you will oversee the entire process from concept through production and reporting. This will ensure alignment across internal teams and client stakeholders.
Please Note: This is a hybrid role (predominantly remote with 1-2 days per month in the New York office).
As an Account Director (B2B) at Brandwidth, you will:
Lead the daily client relationship across a global enterprise account, managing a complex network of partners at varying levels of seniority.
Navigate and map client-side team structures across multiple business units and geographies, adapting your approach to different internal cultures and evaluation processes.
Oversee integrated digital programs spanning social, web, email and digital strategy, from brief through production to evaluation.
Oversee all resource management across creative and strategy teams, owning the briefing process end-to-end and ensuring workflows function smoothly and to the standard the account demands.
Drive the ongoing optimisation of operational processes and ways of working: identifying inefficiencies, implementing improvements, and consistently raising the bar on what the account team delivers.
Own account financials: own and maintain forecasts, scope new briefs, submit estimates, and ensure accurate invoicing.
Facilitate the conceptual stages of campaign development, connecting strategy and creative teams to client needs before managing delivery end-to-end.
Support and develop junior members of the account team.
Bring informed, well-versed perspectives on B2B marketing to client conversations - contributing to strategic discussions, not just administering them.
You will bring:
5+ years in a client-facing agency role, with experience managing enterprise or large-scale B2B accounts.
Experience building trusted relationships with senior partners at complex, multinational organizations.
Experience working across full-service digital channels, including organic and paid social, web content, email, SEO/SEM and digital strategy.
Experience overseeing resource management and internal briefing processes within an agency environment, with the ability to guide operational efficiency across diverse teams.
Sound business understanding: forecasting, scoping, estimating, and financial oversight at the account level.
Communication proficiency and relationship‑building experience across all levels, including C‑suite and global leads.
Structure with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without loss of quality or oversight.
Genuine knowledge of and interest in B2B marketing: able to contribute to strategy, not just execute it.
Experience in line managing and/or mentoring junior team members.
And in return, Brandwidth offers:
Competitive salary and performance-based monthly and annual bonuses
Generous PTO policy
401K
Medical, dental, and vision cover
Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account
Life, accidental death, and disability insurance
