Account Manager (B2B and B2C)
We're an award-winning Social Media agency based in the UK.
We work with brands such as AXA Investment Managers, Avanti West Coast Trains, Hartleys Jam, BP, Sipsmith Gin, National Grid, Linda McCartney Foods, Dow Chemical Company, Virgin and Virgin Red, amongst others.
Our team is a friendly mix of Strategists, Creatives, Account Managers, Media Planners and Buyers - all with one goal: creating work that wins people's time on social media, in the most exciting ways possible.
Role overview
We're looking for our next expert Account Manager to join our lively team in Great Portland Street, based in our London office two-three days a week, with the option to work from home the rest.
Work across several exciting clients, with a focus on a couple of B2B clients, one within FS and one within the thermoplastic resins space. The other couple of clients could vary between B2C travel and FMCG brands. You’ll report to one of our Account Directors.
As an Account Manager at Cubaka, you will:
- Be a Client Servicing Pro: Already an established Account Manager with agency experience. You will be the main contact for clients, understand their goals, and build and nurture strong, long-term relationships through regular communication and meetings. Proactively address client needs, concerns, and feedback to ensure overall satisfaction.
- Be experienced in managing B2B clients: An important requirement for this role, as we’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of the difference between B2B and B2C clients.
- Be Positive in Retainer and Project Management: You will manage the delivery of social media projects and retainers - including delivery of social creative (always-on and campaign production), paid media activations, and influencer marketing - from start to finish, working with colleagues from across the business to achieve on time, budget and to client expectations.
- Be a stickler for Budget Tracking and Growing Accounts: The sexy part of any client servicing role, I think you'll agree. You’ll have good commercial awareness to spot opportunities to increase revenue and growth within your portfolio of clients. You'll pull together a scope of work, presenting budget proposals, and keeping track of your accounts finances as the work rolls out.
- Be a Positive Line Manager: You will have previous experience managing Account Executives - ensuring they’re busy day-to-day, and supporting their development.
- Be a Motivator: You have an enterprising outlook to work, enjoy managing your projects, finding solutions to challenges when they crop up and pulling in the right people to create the best result.
- Be a Social Media Expert: Knowledgeable in all things social and digital marketing. You know your Threads from your TikTok trending sounds, can rattle off examples of social best practices and have a point of view on the latest campaigns. You are also self-assured in working with Creators and/or Influencers on behalf of your clients.
You will bring:
- 2-3+ years’ experience in a client-facing agency role managing social and digital campaigns for well-known brands.
- An understanding of best practice client servicing, from creating relationships to client management, expectation setting, communication and correspondence.
- Experience managing timelines, estimates, budgets, forecasts and invoices.
- Passion for, and knowledge of, all things social and digital marketing.
And in return, Cubaka offers:
- Unlimited holiday (oh yes!)
- Free breakfast in the office
- Perkbox
- Auto-enrolment pension, with up to 8% contribution
- Regular socials and team-building sessions
- Annual salary review, quarterly performance reviews
