Role overview
We are looking for a Senior Engineer with a passion for AI and relevant qualifications to join our Innovation team in London. You'll lead a team of AI engineers, guiding them to excel, ultimately shaping our future through cutting-edge technology. Reporting to our Transformation Lead you will help define, implement, and support AI-driven projects that enhance efficiency and productivity across the Group.

As a Senior AI Engineer at Next 15, you will:
Lead and inspire a team of engineers focused on AI-related projects
Collaborate with diverse teams to define AI project scopes, technical requirements, and architecture
Drive the design and development of AI-powered software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices
Oversee AI algorithm development, data modelling, and analysis
Implement AI solutions and technologies for enhanced efficiency, productivity, and innovation across the Group and our brands
Participate in hands-on coding, debugging, and problem-solving to meet project goals
Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI technologies and propose relevant solutions to improve our product offerings
Manage and optimise AI system infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security
Provide technical guidance and support to resolve complex technical challenges, leveraging AI capabilities
You will bring:
A degree in computer science, engineering, AI or an IT-related subject
Leadership experience within a development team
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AI such as Python, R or Java
Deep understanding of AI algorithms, machine learning, natural language processing and data analysis
Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries e.g TensorFlow, PyTorch
Knowledge of cloud platforms e.g AWS, Azure and their AI-related services
Experience with successful resolution of AI-specific technical challenges
